look at japanese art for the lettering — note the cover of the japanese music i’m looking at — (how much time and money would i spend on japanese books & magazines if i went to japan —
there are too many worlds — they are all getting fucked up
the record also has a very nice kogo part near the end — study the rhythms
(5 records in the set — i thought there were 3 — a lot of music here) —

LP 2 - i don’t like the flute as much as koto but still good music

getting nervous about the things i haven’t done with medical accounts & income tax

TAKE APART A COMPUTER AND THINK ABOUT ART
didn’t enjoy it very much — interesting to see how large & clunky looking all the components were — (how many years ago — what computers did i have & at what times)
threw away the metal frame works —
decided totally against making assemblages — everything needs to be digitized
take larger components & break them down to small ones —
make digital assemblages (photographs) — use grids as ‘containers and frames’ —
i didn’t photograph the drives & circuit boards —


a kind of revelation — my art is an art of destruction not construction or creativity — break down the forms —
give up all idea of assemblage — get rid of all material that is only good for constructions — brackets etc — pipes old valves etc — they have no aesthetic appeal —
keep taking the electronic things down to more and more details — photo the process for each piece
